The Centre for Adult Educators is a bridge between research, developmental work and education within adult education and popular education and is a meeting point for adult educators, popular adult educators and researchers.
The Centre for Adult Educators has developed knowledge and experience of communication, education and distance learning, which is a sought-after subject in commissioned courses. Other work involves arranging seminars and conferences aimed at adult educators and people working in popular education as well as building networks and creating meeting places.
The Centre for Adult Educators is a part of Studies of adult- popular- and higher education, where research, education and development work aimed at adult learning take place.
The Centre for Adult Educators also contributes to commissioned courses for organisations, authorities and enterprises. Evaluations ae also part of our activities.
The Centre for Adult Educators has an extensive international collaboration and international contacts with adult education and popular education in many countries in Africa and South America. We also cooperate with adult- and popular educators in Eastern Europe, mainly the Baltic countries.
