Research on Adult, Popular and Higher Education

Our research staff consists of two professors (Andreas Fejes and Madeleine Abrandt Dahlgren) and two professor emeritus (Sven Andersson and Staffan Larsson), six associate professors, six senior lecturers, two postdocs, two junior lecturers, and six employed PhD students.
Among other things, we are coordinating Mimer, the national programme for research on popular education ("folkbildning"), and a graduate school in adult learning.
Our research, together with the research in the division in education and sociology mean that the research on adult learning in the Department of behavioural sciences at Linköping university is leading in Sweden, and in a prominent position internationally as well.
We cooperate with, among others, University of Technology in Sydney, Australia; University of Western Cape, Cape Town, South Africa and University of British Columbia, Vancouver, Canada.
