Strongly recommended activities
Each term the HEAD Graduate School arranges a number of activities. HEAD doctoral students are encouraged to participate in all activities. In order to ensure a high level of activity among all HEAD doctoral students, some of these activities are strongly recommended.
Autumn term 2013
October 16-18 - Workshop, Modern techniques in auditory and communication sciences.
Spring term 2013
June 16-19 - Second international conference on cognitive hearing science for communication, www.chscom2013.se
Autumn term 2012
October 3-5 - Workshop, Plasticity in the auditory system.
Spring term 2012
June 18-19, HEAD Graduate School 4th Summer Workshop. The focus this year will be on academic career development.
Autumn term 2011
October 26-28 - Workshop, Noise and its effects on peripheral and central auditory processing.
October 11-12 - Workshop. The purpose of the workshop is to discuss research ethics and how it applies to specific projects.
Spring term 2011
June 19-22 - First international conference on cognitive hearing science for communication.
January 31 - February 1 - Grant-writing workshop in Linköping.
Autumn term 2010
November 10-12 - HEAD/KI/CKV workshop. From speech to understanding: biological and cognitive mechanisms. Workshop with leading international researchers from a range of relevant fields.
September 17 - Örebro University. Whole day of seminars with leading international researchers in the field of audiology including Sophia Kramer, Louise Hickson and Jean-Pierre Gangé.

September 18 - Seminar day in Lund (doctoral students in Lund invite you to a party the previous evening)
November 11-13 - HEAD/CKV workshop, Graninge stiftsgård, Stockholm

February 3rd – Seminar day with Anastasios Sarampalis
April 3rd – Seminar day in Örebro.
June 15-16th – Summer workshop
Autumn term 2008
September 23rd – Seminar day with Stefan Stenfelt
December 5th - Theme day on the Ear
